Organisation - Our plan for the future

We aim to improve the quality of assessment by developing the knowledge, capability and skills of everyone involved in assessment.

Over time we will develop a range of services to support both members of the Institute and non-members - starting with a portfolio of membership services focusing on communication, networking and community-building.

We will bring together like-minded assessors, in actual and virtual forums, to enhance professional development, exchange ideas and share experiences. And we will also coordinate research into assessment best practice, as well as develop models and tools to help make assessment roles more efficient and effective.

Eventually, we aim to work on behalf of our members to represent their views to stakeholders and government.
